287th Movie Review: Hanna

Intense and exhilarating; jolts you from start to finish

Who would’ve thought that the director of Atonement and Pride and Prejudice had what it takes to craft a legit action film? Kudos to Joe Wright as he brings forth a unique style of directing to a movie centered on a female protagonist. Saoirse Ronan shines with her innocent charm and allures with her character’s surprising killer instincts. A promising actress no doubt. Supported by a superb score by the Chemical Brothers, the film makes sure you’re on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what Hanna will do next in her and her father’s (Liam Neeson) master plan. The film is full of life and exhilarating, and is not your average action film.
