An incomplete yet decent drama lacking the key elements of a movie
If critics have been complaining about Harry Potter 7 Part 1 being an incomplete movie, then giving this film the same recognition would be an understatement. Breaking Dawn Part I is probably the biggest incomplete blockbuster of all time, with the most intense moments involving Bella drinking blood to feed her “fetus” and wolves talking in English with their mouth closed. But corniness and greediness aside, parts of the film, and surprisingly the acting, were actually decent. And while I’m not a fan of R.Patz and K-stew, I thought Breaking Dawn Part I was where their chemistry was most evident and believable. So as much as I want to give this a bad grade for its wrong decisions, I don’t think it deserves it.
