Movie Review #305: Crazy, Stupid, Love [12 Reviews Before X-Mas #3]

An uncanny mix of drama and comedy about love for different ages

Much like real-life romance, this Rom-Com is a roller coaster ride with its themes ranging from light comedy to soupy drama and a little bit of both in between. While I admit it felt ho-hum at times, the film’s story really made the characters very likable, which was more than enough to make me forget about those tiny moments. And with Emma Stone, Steve Carell and Ryan Gosling playing the parts, it wasn’t hard getting hooked. It’s a weird movie focusing on love for different ages that allures you into falling in love with it. And I think they partly accomplished it more or less.
